1.An Overview of the auto parts testing process
The testing process of auto parts usually includes the following key steps: preliminary review, sample receipt, confirmation of test requirements, execution of testing, results analysis and quality inspection report office.
2. Key test items and methods
(1)Body size detection: use tape tape, calipers, laser rangefinder and other tools to accurately measure the size of each part of the body to ensure compliance with the design standards. In addition, the triplex meter (CMM) is also widely used for accurate measurement of the body to detect the size and geometric tolerances of each part.
(2)Welding quality inspection: through the visual inspection of the appearance of the welding part, combined with ultrasonic detection and X-ray detection, to judge whether the welding is uniform and smooth, and whether there are cracks, pores and other internal defects. These detection methods together ensure the firmness and reliability of the welding parts.
(3)Coating thickness detection: use the coating thickness gauge to measure the thickness of the body coating to ensure that it is uniform and meets the standard anticorrosion performance. These tests simulate harsh ocean conditions and high humidity conditions, ensuring the durability of the parts in long-term use.
(6)Seal test: through the water tightness test and air tightness test, check the sealing of the doors, Windows, suitcases and other parts to prevent rain and dust from entering the car. These tests ensure the comfort and safety of the vehicle.
(7)Assembly quality inspection of parts: visually check whether the assembly of body parts is fastened and the position is correct, and use a torque wrench to detect the tightening torque of bolts and nuts to ensure that it meets the standards. In addition, use the plug gauge, thick thin gauge and other tools to measure the gap between accessories to ensure that the assembly gap is reasonable.
(8)Surface quality test: visually inspect the finish, flatness and color difference of the body surface, and measure the gloss with a gloss meter to ensure that the coating color is consistent and the surface quality reaches the standard.
(9)Durability test: use fatigue test machine and aging test box to conduct fatigue test and ultraviolet light, temperature, humidity and other environmental tests to evaluate their durability and anti-aging ability.
