Gas corrosion testing is used to determine the adaptability of products to work and store in atmospheric environments, especially for contact and connection components.
The gas corrosion test can simulate various corrosive gases such as nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, chlorine gas, etc. that exist in the atmosphere. It can conduct single or multiple mixed gas corrosion tests to determine the corrosion resistance of electrical and electronic product components, equipment, and materials.

The rigor of gas corrosion testing is determined by the type of corrosive gas and its exposure duration.
