TISAX is an information security standard specifically designed for the automotive industry. It is based on the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System standard and the VDA-ISA security assessment checklist. Jointly developed by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) and the European Network Exchange (ENX), it is widely adopted across the automotive sector and its supply chains. The certification includes three assessment levels-AL1, AL2, and AL3-with AL2 representing a high level of maturity and standardization in information security management, effectively ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical information assets.
