Service Background
Equipment (products) in outdoor environments, whether in working or storage state, may be affected to varying degrees by various types of water, with rain being the most common.
Some equipment (products), although equipped with rain protection measures, may still be affected by condensation or leakage water exposed on their surface. When it rains, due to the infiltration, flow, impact and accumulation of rainwater, it will have various effects on equipment (products) and materials, for example, rainstorm will interfere with the transmission of radar signals; Heavy raindrops can erode the surface of high-speed flying aircraft and missiles; Rainwater can penetrate into the interior of equipment and damage its structure and components. Therefore, the impact of rainfall on products cannot be ignored.
The purpose of conducting Water Spray Test on equipment (products) is to determine the ability of their shells to prevent rainwater infiltration and their operational efficiency during or after exposure to rain.
