Service Background
In natural environments, air pressure gradually decreases with increasing altitude. Therefore, equipment stored and operated in high-altitude environments such as plateaus or airplanes may be exposed to low-pressure environments, and equipment on airplanes may also be exposed to rapid decompression or explosive decompression environments. Low pressure environment brings many physical and chemical effects, such as air and liquid leakage in the sealed shell of the gasket, deformation, damage or rupture of the sealed container, changes in the physical and chemical properties of low-density materials, reduced heat conduction, lubricant evaporation, unstable engine start-up and operation, and vacuum seal failure. At the same time, it may also cause equipment failure or unstable operation due to arc or corona discharge.
Therefore, for equipment (products) that will be exposed to low-pressure environments during their lifespan, low-pressure tests need to be conducted to determine the adaptability and electrical breakdown resistance of components, materials, equipment, etc. during storage, transportation, or use under low-pressure conditions or rapid pressure changes; Determine the ability of sealing components to withstand pressure differences without damage.
