Service Content
Bedding product testing primarily includes fiber content, oil content of fillers, filler quality deviation rate, compression resilience, breaking strength, puncture strength, pilling performance, shedding amount, dimensional change rate under water washing, dimensional change rate under dry cleaning, and colorfastness (resistance to light, soap washing, dry cleaning, sweat stains, and friction).
Service Scope
Applicable to bedding products manufactured with textiles as the outer and inner layers, using fibrous fillers or without fillers. Other products may follow these guidelines. Not applicable to products containing down, feathers, or silk as fillers, nor to bedding products intended for infants aged 36 months or younger.

GB/T 22796-2021 "Bedding" (which also replaces five related standards: GB/T 22796-2009 "Covers and Cover Sheets", GB/T 22796-2009 "Bed Sheets", GB/T 22843-2009 "Pillows and Pads", GB/T 22844-2009 "Accompanying Bedding", and GB/T 22855-2009 "Rashel Bedding")
Test Requirement
The products shall comply with the requirements of GB 18401, wherein the basic requirements for children's products must meet those specified in GB 31701, and the fibers used as fillers shall conform to the standards outlined in GB 18383. The product requirements are categorized into four aspects: basic requirements, intrinsic quality, appearance quality, and manufacturing process quality.
