eCall is an automated emergency call system first introduced by the European Union and applied to automobiles. NG eCall is a next-generation emergency call system based on the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2015/758, offering faster and more reliable response capabilities to further protect the lives of drivers and passengers. According to Regulation (EU) 2024/1180, vehicles will be gradually transitioned to NG eCall from January 1, 2025 to January 1, 2027.
